Established in 1996, RMHC Hong Kong is committed to creating, finding, and supporting programs that directly enhance the health and well-being of sick children.
RMHC Hong Kong provides a “home-away-from-home” for sick children and their families, offering not only accommodations but also psychosocial support to families, Love Companions (former House guests), and hospitalized children. We warmly welcome volunteers to assist with our operations and activities, joining us in supporting sick children and their families through challenging times during medical treatment and recovery.
RMHC Hong Kong welcomes both individual and group volunteers who support our mission.
Individual volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of three months and complete the following steps:
- Attend an Online Information Session.
- Complete the Volunteer Registration Form to share your volunteering preferences, skills, and experience.
- Attend an Online Volunteer Orientation and Onboarding Session at your convenience.
- Participate in an onsite Compassion Compass Training.
- Attend on-the-job training when your skills and availability are matched with our volunteer opportunities.
- Applicant aged 16 to 75 is eligible to register as an individual volunteer
- Applicants below age 18 will require consent from either their parents or legal guardians
- Government/public organizations, non-governmental organizations, corporations, schools, educational groups may register as group volunteers
